DR. MICHAEL TUCKER: GRS was originally conceived in 1999 and took us about a year to come together as a group to open up in the year 2000. And, as a group, we were both doctors and Embryologists, who had a extreme amount of experience from working in other clinics around the country and, in some cases, outside of the country.

DR. MARK PERLOE: Dr. Michael Tucker, who is one of the pioneers in infertility laboratory work came to me in the late '90s and talked to me about a new way of practicing infertility.

DR. CAROLYN KAPLAN: He had left his previous practice because he felt that it was too large. And, he wanted to start something that he could feel like he had more control in. And so, we started talking.

DR. MICHAEL TUCKER: We were both doctors and Embryologists who had an extreme amount of experience from working in other clinics around the country and, in some cases, outside of the country. Decided to put together a clinic to enable us to come together as a group and provide care on a more individualized basis to the couples.

DR. MARK PERLOE: I joined together with Dr. Tucker, the other experienced lab people and Dr. Carolyn Kaplan to form Georgia Reproductive Specialists. So, we've been here about six years now. And, the practice has grown to three locations. And, I'm proud of what we've been able to do by working together.
